Comfortable room near Buckingham Palace

Convenient and enjoyable stay. Positive: Excellent location close to the palace, the tube, great coffee shops and restaurants. Also loved the communal kitchen which was large and modern. Negative: We stayed in room B which was in the basement. We had not appreciated that there was a very narrow staircase leading down to this bedroom which was the only way we could get up and down onto ground floor. This meant we had to carry our very heavy 3 suitcases up and down which was painful and difficult. It was also unusual that the pillows in bedroom B had no protective pillow covers so we could see the condition they were in - all yellow stained. Mattress also felt saggy. We could not get the large TV to operate even though the host claimed you could log into it but we could not get any channels to do so and no free to air TV.

Excellent location. Positive: Excellent location Clean Spacious Well equipped Negative: We arrived at night and struggled to initially locate the property. Some clear instructions on how to find the property from the tube station would have been useful.

An sich reicht es für einen kurztrip nach London und die Lage war wie gesagt Super. Man hat eine direkte U-Bahn in der N Positive: Die Lage war super und wenn man was brauchte, war der Eigentümer immer sofort hilfsbereit! Negative: Die Sauberkeit war nicht so gegeben und der Raum war sehr warm. Möglichkeiten zu lüften war auch nicht optimal gegeben, da gegenüber schon das nächste Zimmer war und man direkt Blickkontakt hatte..

Great location, large room, basic facilities. Positive: Location was fabulous, room was big, facilities fine. Requested extra towels and they obliged. Negative: It was a converted theatre room with weird glass sliding doors, didn't feel private near the laundry which we could hear being turned on as early as 7.45am on Sunday morning. Needed to access the key safe lock every time to open our door. Was temperamental and very annoying. No extras, no glasses in the room, no conditioner, very basic accomodation.
