Riverfront 1-BR Apartment in Canary Wharf

Lovely place in need of some small updates Positive: The location was great and the appartment spacious. Check in and out was easy (and all online). There's a lift in the building and a very comfy sleeping sofa in the living room. Big and cold fridge which was much appreciated Negative: The kitchen needs an update (it's not particularly well equipped) and the balcony door doesn't open properly (gives you trouble when you try to open it which is unpleasant in a 36 degree heatwave). The kitchen sink is oreventing you to open the kitchen window fully (which would be helpful when you cook and again: also in a heatwave ;)). There's a vent but that's really dirty and mouldy. And there was a small box for coffee and tea but no tea (whaaaat?)

Positive: Amazing apartment with an impecable view , location perfect ,and the host MINA she is incredible top notch from the moment we booked till departure date and also the next day she kept intouch with us .... i must say very prompt and best costumer service ever ...... We will defiantly be back soon thanks again Mina for the help you provided us and for making our stay perfect x x xx. Negative: I liked everything ... x

Positive: Location, view, good price.

Great location. Positive: Communication with the host was easy from the beginning. They replied quickly, and our request for a late check-in was accepted without any problems, which we really appreciated. The best thing about this apartment is the location. The area is beautiful, the view from the balcony is amazing, and there are many restaurants and a metro station nearby. Shortly after we arrived, I reported a few things to the host that were damaged or in poor condition, including a broken ironing board. The host immediately offered to replace it but I said it wasn't necessary. I can't say if they would have brought a new one, but I really appreciated the offer and willingness to help. Overall, I would recommend this apartment only because of its great location. However, the price is far too high for the standard of the apartment. Negative: The apartment is not worth the price. Yes, it was very clean, but the overall standard is poor. It really needs a lot of work. The apartment is outdated, many things need repairing, and several items are broken. One thing we really didn't like was that a few days into our stay, the host called and said they needed to inspect the apartment the same day. This was never mentioned in the listing. We told them we would not be in because we already had plans, but they said they had to enter the apartment anyway, even without us there. We found this very uncomfortable.

Truly the best when travelling to London. Positive: Meridian place never disappoints, this is the third time I’ve stayed in the same building and it’s wonderful, the flats are huge for a kid to run around, the elevator access is on every floor, easy to use instructions, wonderful hosts, everything was available at the apartment. The view is amazing the mornings are so peaceful and calm and the train station is a 3 minute walk. Negative: Nothing
