Room in heart of London

Great location and design, but some noise issues Positive: The location was very convenient and central, the room design was lovely, and I appreciated having a kitchen available. Negative: I didn’t like that the soundproofing was very weak – I could clearly hear the neighboring doors closing and the footsteps from the room above, which made it difficult to sleep. However, the hotel management reacted very quickly and contacted the neighbors, asking them to close the doors more quietly, especially at night. After that, it became noticeably quieter. On top of that, I received a cake from the hotel management as an apology, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The bed is also a matter of taste – if two people sleep in it, every time one person turns over, the other one jumps and wakes up, which was uncomfortable. But for one person it’s perfectly fine

Positive: Our stay at Imperial York was great! Communication with the staff was smooth and super responsive, which made everything easy. The room looked exactly like the photos: spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. We also loved the thoughtful welcome snack. Even though the bathroom was shared with two other apartments, everything worked out perfectly, with everyone being respectful of each other’s space. Overall, a lovely experience!

Positive: The room is really beautiful and there is a fully equipped kitchen. Also, it is located in a very nice area with several tube stations nearby. Negative: The apartment itself is beautiful. But there is only one bathroom for three guest rooms. So if you're unlucky, someone is in the shower when you're just about to leave and you would like to quickly use the toilet... An extra toilet would have been great. Also, there were very noisy roadworks directly in front of the house - but that was just an unlucky coincidence and had nothing to do with the accomodation itself. We were out and about all day anyway.
