Elite Haven: Luxe Airbnb Retreat

Fantastic, well located and it has everything you may need Positive: Apartment was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and had both a bathtub and a shower and was also very spacious. Location was great. Check in was super easy. Value for money was perfect. Negative: Maybe it would be great to have some cleaning tools provided like at least a broom and some extra towels, because they don’t come to clean so we would have loved to be able to do it ourselves.

Needs some thought and care to be a truly great stay Positive: Location is very convenient for Marylebone and Baker Street Stations. Negative: We stayed in the deluxe double studio room on the first floor, which looks very posh on the surface but in reality had very flimsy furniture (shaky chair legs, spindly metal bed frame), cheap bedding, lack of any sort of mirror other than the one in the bathroom which was hung quite high up (surely with all that space, a full length mirror could be installed somewhere?), half of the light bulbs in the chandeliers not working, two-way light switches somehow only work on some of the lights so it just becomes very confusing to turn off the lights before bed, one of the radiators near the window not working, misleading info in the listing that there is a washer-dryer within the room (it's in a separate common area), huge but drafty bathroom with a big frosted window so your silhouette is visible to the outside + an odd second door leading directly to the common area outside, very odd push-button shower apparatus (with labels the wrong way round so the button for the hand shower instead triggers a rainfall of cold water from the rain shower). Single glazed window only - very cold and quite noisy from the road outside all night long, and we weren't even staying on the weekend. Soundproofing in general poor as we could also hear noise from the downstairs rooms. Overall, a very spacious room but the furnishing entirely lets it down. With the price being paid, the owners/property managers should definitely invest in being a lot more thoughtful about setting this up as an actual living space, considering the comfort and convenience of guests; this was therefore very disappointing, as it has such potential to be an actually luxurious and comfortable space with some real, solid furnishings.

great for a weekend stay, water pressure threw it off Positive: everything was like the photos, bed was comfy, location ideal, fair price, plenty of space Negative: water pressure was shocking, the walls were so thin you could hear everything even from a floor above, and this may just be me but there was a sinister feeling in there
